Operations / Heat Pump Construction

IGS Assistant Project Manager (Home Improvement Ops)

Job Title: Assistant Project Manager (Home Improvement Ops)

Target Profile: Level 5 BPO Support / Team Lead / SME Experience

Location: Remote (Philippines based)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (Night Shift in PH)

Compensation: Up to $1,250 USD Base + $500 Bonus (Total Potential: $1,750 USD/Month)

Employment Type: Independent Contractor (Full-time)

About Us:

We are a US-based home improvement company specializing in residential upgrades including Solar, HVAC, Roofing, and Electrical systems. We are looking for a high-performing operations leader to join us as an Assistant Project Manager. We value the discipline and rigorous standards of the BPO industry and are looking for a "Level 5" leader ready to transition into US Project

You will serve as the operational backbone for our US installation teams. This is not a basic support role; it is a high-stakes coordination role. You will manage the schedules of field crews, handle real-time escalations with customers, and ensure 20+ active construction projects hit their deadlines. We need someone who has "mastered the phones" and is ready to manage the business.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operational Control: act as the central dispatcher for Solar, Roofing, and HVAC crews. You ensure they are at the right place, at the right time, with the right equipment.

* Escalation Management: Handle high-level customer concerns. When a project is delayed or a customer is frustrated, you step in (just like a Supervisor call) to de-escalate and solve the problem.

* Pipeline Management: Track projects from "Contract Signed" to "Installation Complete." You will identify bottlenecks (permit delays, missing parts) and push the project forward.

* Reporting: Maintain strict KPIs on project velocity and completion rates, reporting weekly to US leadership.

Requirements:

* BPO Experience: Mandatory "Level 5" Experience. You must have reached the level of Team Lead (TL), Subject Matter Expert (SME), Escalation Desk, or Operations Manager in a BPO setting. (5+ years total experience preferred).

* Trade Awareness: Experience supporting US Home Services accounts (ISP, Utility, Solar, or Home Warranty campaigns) is a massive plus.

* Soft Skills: You must possess "Managerial Courage"—the ability to firmly but politely direct field crews and reset expectations with customers.

* Tech Stack: Proficiency in CRM/Workforce Management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Odoo, Monday.com) and Google Workspace.

* Communication: C2 / Native-level English proficiency is required.

Compensation & Performance:

* Base Pay: Up to $1,250 USD / Month (paid weekly or bi-weekly).

* Performance Bonus: Up to $500 USD / Month based on project completion speed and customer satisfaction scores.

* Total Potential: $1,750 USD / Month (approx. ₱95,000 - ₱100,000 PHP).

Technical Requirements:

* Reliable computer/laptop (i5 processor or equivalent, 8GB RAM minimum).

* Fiber internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps) with a backup connection.

* Noise-canceling headset.

How to Apply:

Please submit your resume and a cover letter. In your cover letter, specifically mention your "Level 5" or Team Lead experience and the specific account types (e.g., Telco, Solar, Tech Support) you have managed.

Screening / Qualification Questions

(Add these to your application form)

* BPO Level Verification: What was your last official job title? (e.g., Team Captain, SME, Operations Manager). How many agents or cases did you oversee directly?

* Escalation Experience: Describe the most difficult "Supervisor Call" or escalation you successfully resolved. How did you turn the situation around?

* Logistics Coordination: Have you ever managed a campaign that involved "Field Services" (dispatching technicians to homes) or complex logistics?

* Trade Knowledge: Do you have any familiarity with US home improvement terminology (e.g., HVAC, Solar Panels, Roofing Permits)?

* Bonus Motivation: This role is heavily performance-based. Are you comfortable with a compensation structure where ~$500 of your monthly income is tied to hitting specific KPIs?

Next Step

Would you like me to create a "Mock Escalation Scenario"? You can give this to candidates during the interview to test if they really have that "Level 5" de-escalation skill (e.g., "A customer is screaming because the roofing crew is 2 hours late. You are the Manager. What do you say?").
